GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 2: TAKE CARE OF

  • After mixing the growing medium, we put it in a pot or nursery tray.
  • Spray fungicide on the surface of the growing medium, it is best to spray continuously 2-3 times so that the medicine penetrates deeper. Soak the seeds in 3 parts boiling water and 7 parts cold water for 5-7 hours.
  • After soaking the seeds, use wet paper to incubate the seeds, then put them in a small box, cover tightly and put them in a cool place. Leave it like that until the seeds sprout green, then sow them in loose soil.

STEP 3: Take care of

  • Depending on the type, the temperature for germination ranges from about 20-30°C.
  • Always ensure soil moisture, do not let the soil dry or get too wet.
  • Place the pot or nursery tray in a place with diffused light (covered with 50% black orchid net), because the seeds need light to germinate, but if the intensity is too strong, it will burn the seeds and dry the growing medium quickly.
  • Replace the pot or transfer to the soil when the seedlings have grown, we can transfer to a larger pot or transfer to the soil directly.
  • For seedlings, the root system is not strong enough to absorb high concentrations of fertilizer, so using foliar fertilizer is most appropriate.
  • Normally, foliar fertilizer should only be watered with 1/2 or 2/3 of the concentration on the package instructions. After the plants have grown, we can use diluted NPK fertilizer.
